Tended was founded in 2017 by Leo Scott Smith, inspired by his experience leading emergency aid teams in Nepal after the 2015 earthquakes, where he saw firsthand the human Impact of safety in high-risk environments.
Facing aftershocks, landslides and other life threatening events, he saw how deeply safety impacts every individual and their loved ones.
This experience led to the founding of Tended, driven by the mission of preventing avoidable accidents and ensuring everyone gets home safe every day.
